FL Liza thanks Filipino-Chinese community for helping improve PH culture, trade

First Lady Louise ''Liza'' Araneta-Marcos expressed gratitude to the Filipino-Chinese community for extending help when it comes to improving the country's trade and culture.
Marcos graced the thanksgiving dinner with the Filipino-Chinese community in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Philippine-China relations on Thursday evening.
''A big thank you to our Filipino-Chinese community for always being part of our country's trade and cultural growth,'' Marcos said in an Instagram post.
''Can't thank you enough for your support in revitalizing our Manila Chinatown —the oldest Chinatown in the world and for lighting the bridges in our Pasig River,'' she added.
The Pasig River project was overseen by the First Lady, and it is now on its 3rd phase of rehabilitation.
Phase 3 of the Pasig River Esplanade hopes to create 2,000 square meters of open activity space along Plaza Mexico, which will be ideal for enjoying the scenery or taking a stroll. It will connect the existing Pasig River Esplanade to the historic Fort Santiago. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
