Comelec: 57.41% of voters in Eleksyon 2025 are single; 41.08% are married


The number of total registered voters in the country has increased to 68.4 million, of which 39.2 million or 57.41% are single, according to a report on Unang Balita.

Citing data from the Commission on Elections, the report said that most of the 39.2 million individuals reside in Eastern and Central Visayas and Metro Manila.

Meanwhile, 28.1 million or 41.08% of the registered voters are married; 950,243 individuals or 1.38% are widowed; while 83,039 or 0.12% are legally separated.

According to the Comelec, there are also 34.8 million or 50.97% female voters, slightly higher than the 33.5 million or 49.03% male voters.

Meanwhile, 33.74% of the voters are millennials, 26.78% are Gen Z, 22.72% are Generation X, while 16.77% are Baby Boomers, Silent or Greatest generation, and senior citizens.
