Quiapo crowd reaches 192,000 as Traslacion continues
An estimated 192,400 devotees have been monitored at the Quiapo area in Manila City on Thursday noon amid the traditional Traslacion for the Feast of the Jesus Nazareno.
The Quiapo Church reported the crowd estimate as people spotted at the procession continued to grow. The number was earlier placed at 45,500 as of 9 a.m. Thursday.

The andas or the carriage of the image of Jesus Nazareno was located 3 p.m. at Arlegui Street heading Nepomuceno Street.
The Philippine Red Cross has provided medical assistance to 401 devotees during the procession as of posting time.

Devotees gathered early Thursday morning at the Quirino Grandstand for the start of the Traslacion or procession of the image of Jesus Nazareno to its home at Quiapo Church.
