LIST: First aid stations for Traslacion 2025
The Department of Health (DOH) and the Philippine Red Cross have set up first aid stations to accommodate devotees who will need medical assistance during the Traslacion in Manila on Thursday.
According to the DOH, the department designated medical teams and health stations in the following areas along the route of the procession:
- Quirino Grandstand
- Field Medical Hospital (Rizal Park, Roxas Boulevard)
- National Museum (exit point)
- Cebuana Lhuillier (near SM Manila)
- Suntrust (near Ayala Bridge)
- Technological Institute of the Philippines corner Lingkod Bayan (Barangay Hall) (Arlequi Corner P. Casal)
- San Sebastian Church Ground
- Manuel L. Quezon University Ground
- One Quiapo Hotel (Quezon Boulevard)
- stretch of P. Casal
- Quinta Market parking area
- Villarica Pawnshop (Quezon Boulevard)
- in front of BDO (Carlos Palanca Street corner P. Gomez Street)
- MCGI Quiapo (Quezon Boulevard - Southbound)
- in front of 7-Eleven and Chowking (Paterno Street, Quezon Boulevard)
- in front of Philtrust Bank (Rizal Avenue corner Carriedo Street)
A total of 201 personnel of the Health Emergency Response Team (HERT) from 20 DOH hospitals in Metro Manila will be deployed to provide medical assistance.
“Ang mga pasilidad tulad ng [Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center], [Tondo Medical Center], at iba pang ospital ng DOH sa [National Capital Region] ay handang tumanggap ng mga pasyenteng nangangailangan ng mas masusing atensyong medikal,” the DOH said.
(Facilities like Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center, Tondo Medical Center, and other DOH hospitals in the National Capital Region are ready to receive patients who need more thorough medical attention.)
Meanwhile, the Philippine Red Cross said first aid stations and welfare desks have been established in the following areas:
- Quirino Grandstand (on South Drive near Museo Pambata and on Katigbak Drive near Manila Hotel)
- Roundtable (near the entrance to Intramuros and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila)
- Finance Road (near National Museum in front of the Philippine Normal University)
- Ayala Bridge (on San Marcelino Street and on General Solano Street)
- Arlegui Street corner P. Casal Street
- San Rafael Street (near SM Manila)
- Quezon Boulevard (near Quiapo Church)
The Philippine Red Cross added that ambulances, fire trucks, and rescue boats are also on standby around the area.
The Feast of Jesus Nazareno is a 10-day activity which started from December 31, 2024 and will culminate on January 9, 2025 with the Traslacion or the procession of the image.
The Traslacion route will start at Quirino Grandstand and end at Quiapo Church.
