PNP reshuffles key officials due to retirements
The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday said some officials have been reshuffled to different key positions over the weekend after the mandatory retirement of two police officers.
In a press briefing, PNP spokesperson Police Brigadier General Jean Fajardo said Police Region Office (PRO) Caraga chief Police Brigadier General Alan Nazarro has retired from the service.
Due to this, former Aviation Security Group (AVSEG) director Police Brigadier General Christopher Abrahano has been appointed PRO Caraga officer-in-charge.
Replacing Abrahano, former PRO Calabarzon deputy regional director for administration (DRDA) Police Brigadier General Christopher Abecia is the new AVSEG officer-in-charge.
Meanwhile, PNP Headquarters Support Service (HSS) director Police Brigadier General Radel Ramos has also retired from the service.
Due to this, Police Brigadier General Ramil Montilla of the Directorate for Police Community Relations (DPCR) took over the HSS as officer-in-charge.
Replacing Montilla, former PRO 7 DRDA Police Brigadier General Roy Parena has been transferred to the DPCR.
Former PRO 11 DRDA Police Brigadier General Dionisio Bartolome Jr. replaced Parena as PRO 7 DRDA. — BM, GMA Integrated News
