NBI files falsification, violations of Anti-Dummy Law raps vs Alice Guo, family
The National Bureau of Investigation filed falsification and violations of the Anti-Dummy Law complaints against dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo and 4 members of her family with the Department of Justice on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters, NBI spokesperson Ferdinand Lavin said they filed the complaints against Guo, parents Jiang Zhong Guo and Lin Wenyi, and siblings Shiela and Siemen Guo.
This is connection with the buying of 4 parcels of land for their 3Lin-Q Farm in Mangatarem, Pangasinan.
“They misrepresented themselves as Filipino citizens when the NBI was able to sufficiently establish that they are Chinese citizens,” Lavin said.
The Guo family is also facing 7 counts of falsification for misrepresentations in their Securities and Exchange Commission Incorporation papers.
“They have falsified the Articles of Incorporation, the Secretary's Certificate and the General Information Sheet,” Lavin added.
The NBI also secured certifications from a barangay in Bulacan stating that the Guo family never lived in the area.
Lavin added that they are also looking at initiating forfeiture cases against the said property. — RSJ, GMA Integrated News
