Quezon City feels 4.2 magnitude quake near Rodriguez, Rizal
A 4.2 magnitude earthquake near Rodriguez, Rizal was felt by some people in Quezon City past 1 a.m. on Monday.
According to Phivolcs, the tremor hit at 1:20 a.m. at a depth of 8 km, 18 km north and 66° east of Rodriguez, Rizal.
Intensity II was felt in Quezon City. Phivolcs defines Intensity II as a quake that is "slightly" felt. "Felt by few individuals at rest indoors. Hanging objects swing slightly. Still water in containers oscillates noticeably," the monitoring agency said.
The agency does not expect damage or aftershocks as a result of the quake.
