Marcos places all gov't agencies under high alert due to Typhoon Marce
President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. on Wednesday tasked all government agencies to be on high alert in response to Typhoon Marce.
Marcos stressed the need to ensure that relevant information reaches communities promptly and on-the-ground situations are reported accurately.
“Sa mga ahensya ng pamahalaan, you all know the drill. I am placing you all [on] high alert,” Marcos said.
[To all government agencies, you all know the drill. I am placing you all [on] high alert.]
[Let us start with an efficient communication system which will deliver prompt advice and information to the public.]
He also tasked concerned agencies to keep an eye on dams and follow the existing protocols on releasing water. Further, Marcos directed offices to ready the rescue equipment for deployment.
(When it comes to dams that will be affected, I task our experts and officials to follow the existing protocols when it comes to releasing water.)

The Department of Public Works and Highways and the Department of Transportation shall be on standby for road clearing operations, Marcos said.
