LTO announces half-day work suspension for October 31

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) said a half-day suspension of work will be implemented in all its offices on Thursday for the observance of Undas or All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day.

In an advisory, LTO said the work suspension will start at 12 noon.

“In line with Memorandum Circular No. 67, s. 2024 from the Office of the President, a HALF-DAY WORK SUSPENSION will be observed in ALL LTO OFFICES on OCTOBER 31, 2024, starting at 12:00 NN,” LTO said.

“This is to allow employees to participate in All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day observances, accommodate travel, and support local tourism,” it added.

Regular operations in LTO offices will resume on Monday, November 4.
