1,099 pass 2024 PMA entrance exam


The Philippine Military Academy on Wednesday announced that 1,099 applicants passed the school’s 2024 PMA Entrance Examinations.

In a statement, the PMA said 21,796 aspiring military officers took the examination at four locations on the following dates:

  • Mindanao (Aug. 10 and 11)
  • Visayas and Region V (Aug. 24 and 25)
  • National Capital Region, CALABARZON and MIMAROPA (Sept. 7 and 8)
  • Northern and Central Luzon (Sept. 21 and 22)

Applicants who passed the test are set to undergo the Complete Physical, Medical, and Neuropsychiatry Examinations at the AFP Medical Center in Camp Victoriano K. Luna in Quezon City.

“The selection process of the incoming PMA Class of 2029 is expected to run until the 1st Quarter of CY 2025 in preparation for their admission tentatively on June 2025,” the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) said in another statement.

The successful examinees will be informed by the PMA Office about the next steps of the screening process through mail and email.
