Comelec OKs establishment of 110 technical hubs for Eleksyon 2025
The Commission on Elections (Comelec) en banc on Wednesday approved the establishment of 110 technical hubs nationwide for the 2025 national and local elections (NLE) and the Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections.
In a resolution, the Comelec en banc approved an October 22 memorandum, proposing the locations and venues of the technical hubs that will be responsible for all poll-related repairs and configurations.
At least one hub will be distributed per province and will be operational from May 6, 2025 until the conclusion of the elections.
“The Commission, after due deliberation, resolved, as it hereby resolves, to approve the hereto attached and forming integral part hereof, the list of the 2025 National and Local Elections and BARMM Parliamentary Elections Technical Hubs,” the resolution read.
“Let the office of the Deputy Executive Director for operations and the PMO for the 2025 NLE implement this Resolution,” it added.
Among the locations of the hubs were in San Juan, Makati, Valenzuela City, Laoag, Vigan, San Fernando City in La Union, Dagupan, Basco, Batanes, Tuguegarao City, Ilagan, Cabbaroguis in Quirino, Baler, Balanga, Malolos, Cabanatuan, and San Fernando, Pampanga. Other areas for the hubs include Tarlac, Iba, Batangas, Trece Martires, Sta. Cruz, Real, Gumaca, Lucena, Taytay, Calapan, Boac, and Romblon. — Sundy Locus/RSJ, GMA Integrated News
