Comelec issues nominees of certified party-lists for Eleksyon 2025

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) released the complete list of nominees of the 156 certified party-list organizations for the 2025 national and local elections (NLE).

This is in accordance with Comelec Resolution No. 11045, stating the poll body will post the certificates of candidacy (COCs) and Certificate of Nomination and Acceptance (CONAs) of aspirants vying for national and local positions on their website. The list was published on Wednesday, October 24.

Earlier, Chairperson George Erwin Garcia earlier said the Comelec will start accepting petitions for cancellation of nomination against party-list nominees five days after the list publication.

In June, the Comelec en banc approved "in principle" the proposal to upload the submitted  COCs and CONAs on their website.

"Approved na po in principle 'yung ating proposal na 'yung mismong mga Certificates of Candidacy kasama ang Certificate of Nomination and Acceptance ay atin na pong ilalathala sa website ng Comelec," Comelec Chairman George Garcia said in a chance interview Wednesday.

The poll body last week held for the first-time an electronic raffle of numbers to determine the order of listing of the 156 party-list groups in the official ballots for Eleksyon 2025.
