House suspends work on Oct. 24 due to Kristine

Work at the House of Representatives will remain suspended on Thursday, October 24 due to the inclement weather brought by the Severe Tropical Storm Kristine.

“Only essential personnel as determined by their respective Deputy Secretaries General or the Sergeant-at-Arms shall reader service,” according to an advisory by Secretary General Reginald Velasco.

The advisory came after the Malacanang also suspended work in government offices and classes at all levels in Luzon due to the continuous rainfalls.

Thirteen areas are currently under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 3, the state weather bureau PAGASA said in its 8 p.m. bulletin on Wednesday. —Vince Ferreras/LDF, GMA Integrated News
