Centro Escolar grad tops October 2024 optometrists licensure exam


A graduate of Centro Escolar University-Manila achieved the highest score in the optometrists licensure examination held earlier this month.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 297 out of 327 test takers passed the exam, given by the Board of Optometry in Metro Manila.

Centro Escolar's Danielle Ramboyong King took the top spot with a score of 88.87%, while the top performing school with at least 25 examinees is Manila Central University-Caloocan City, with 53 of its 54 test takers passing.

In addition, six out of seven test takers passed the computer-based special certification examination in ocular pharmacology for optometrists, also given by the Board of Optometry in NCR this month.
