4 arrested, including minor, for falsification of public documents
Operatives of the National Bureau of Investigation-Special Task Force (NBI-STF) have arrested four individuals, including a minor, for falsifying public documents, the agency said Wednesday.
In a statement, the NBI said the four individuals were selling fake NBI clearance, land titles, passport, and other documents for P700 to P2,500 in Manila.
According to Glen Juego’s report on Super Radyo dzBB, the signature of NBI Director Jaime Santiago was also faked.

The agents then conducted an operation on October 15, resulting in the arrest.
The NBI said the four individuals underwent inquest proceedings at the Manila Prosecutor’s Office for violation of Article 172 in relation to Article 171 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended.
Meanwhile, the NBI-STF recovered computers, office tools, and documents such as NBI clearance and certificates from the Philippine Statistics Authority and the Land Transportation Office, among others.—Joahna Lei Casilao/AOL, GMA Integrated News
