Marcos on way home from Lao PDR after ASEAN, related summits

VIENTIANE—President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. departed Lao PDR after participating in the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits. 

Before leaving the National Convention Center, Marcos joined his fellow leaders in witnessing the handover of Chairmanship from the Lao PDR to Malaysia. 

They also witnessed the unveiling of the ASEAN theme for 2025, marking the conclusion of the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits. 

In the Summit, Marcos made a strong call to fast track the conclusion of the ASEAN-China Code of Conduct. 

The President also had bilateral meetings with Canada, Vietnam, Japan, and New Zealand. —NB, GMA Integrated News
