Liza Marcos cites ASEAN Business Advisory Council PH's support for 'Lab for All' project

VIENTIANE - First Lady Louise ''Liza'' Araneta-Marcos on Wednesday welcomed the support of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council Philippines for her ''Lab for All'' project.

The First Lady is in Lao PDR as her husband, President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr., participates in the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits.

''It was nice sharing a meal with the members of ASEAN Business Advisory Council Philippines and the Kapatid Angat Lahat Program,'' Liza said in an Instagram post.

''Their dedication to assisting Filipino entrepreneurs and their support for our LAB for ALL program truly make them invaluable partners in nation-building,'' she added.

Libreng Laboratoryo, Konsulta, at Gamot para sa Lahat or Lab for All is a flagship outreach program that offers an array of health services such as free consultation, free medicines, and basic laboratory tests done in the Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinics.

The caravan has already made 35 stops across the country since it was launched in May 2023.

Launched in April 2003, the ASEAN BAC aims to provide private sector feedback and guidance to boost the region's efforts towards economic integration. It also identifies priority areas for consideration by the ASEAN leaders. —VBL, GMA Integrated News
