Willie Revillame files COC to run for senator in Eleksyon 2025

Television personality Willie Revillame has filed his certificate of candidacy to run for senator in Eleksyon 2025.

Revillame beat the deadline on the last day of filing of COC's at the Manila Hotel.

If he gets a seat in the Senate, Revillame said he will fight for the welfare of the poor.

"Kung makikipag away ako sa Senado, makikipag away ako para sa mahirap," Revillame said.

“Hindi lang batas ng batas, ang batas sa mahihirap ang kailangan natin,” he added.

(If I'm going to engage in fighting, I will fight for the poor. We should not only craft measures. What we need are measures for the poor.)

Running as an independent candidate, Revillame said he would be on providing free education and increasing the senior citizen and Persons With Disabilities (PWD) discounts to 30%.—NB, GMA Integrated News
