SAYS SHE ZHIJIANG EX-CELLMATE

'Alice Guo's 2022 campaign was arranged by Chinese state security'

'Alice Guo's 2022 campaign was arranged by Chinese state security'

The campaign of dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo during the 2022 elections was "arranged by Chinese state security."

This was the latest allegation raised against Guo by Wang Fu Gui, the friend and former cellmate of self-proclaimed Chinese spy in an Al Jazeera documentary, She Zhijiang.

She Zhijiang claimed in the documentary that Guo is also an agent of the Chinese ministry of state security and once asked him for campaign funds.

Senate Deputy Minority Leader Risa Hontiveros' office was able to interview Wang Fu Gui through video teleconferencing, the recording was shown on Tuesday during the continuation of the Senate probe into illegal POGOs .

According to Wang, the content of the declassified file kept by She is "large" and he was only able to declassify "a portion under his authorization."

"Guo Hua Ping was a spy but not a special one. It just so happens there is a copy of her state security background there. And her situation with Mr. She has a lot of similarities," Wang said in the interview.

"Guo Hua Ping's fake Filipino identity is such a secret and weakness that she can only listen to State Security. Mr. She's experience is similar," he added.

Asked about Guo's alleged assignment as a Chinese spy, Wang said these questions should be asked directly to She, but overseas special agents include spies who "collect intelligence, many others work for the political and economic interests of the Chinese Government, such as officials and businessmen in some countries."

Wang also said that there is a "correlation" between POGO or scamming businesses with spying operations.

"Of course there is a correlation, it has a lot to do with the Chinese government's exuberant intelligence … There's also the fact that all of this is totally connected to the Belt and Road, which is also just part of a huge united front and intelligence strategic plan for the whole world, including foreign colonization tactics," he said.

In the same interview, Wang named a certain "Ma Dongli," supposedly a member of the Communist Party of China, as She's state security contact.

According to Wang, "Ma Dongli" is the second generation of the "Reds," has an American identity, and is the vice president of the Thai-Chinese association.

"There is a high probability that he is also Guo Hua Ping's handler, and that Mr. She Zhijiang's contact with Guo Hua Ping is through Ma Dongli, that is the only thing that I can answer," he said.

After the release of the Al Jazeera interview, Wang said She is now "reported to have been severely suppressed by the Chinese government" for revealing the espionage case involving Guo.

"Due to the sensitivity of the matter, Mr. She Zhijiang has been placed under surveillance in Thai prisons, and his contact with the outside world has been restricted," Wang said.

Guo attended the hearing where the interview with Wang was shown, but she has yet to answer to the allegations raised anew against her as the Senate panel prioritized the conduct of an executive session.

Hontiveros' office attempted to interview She through the Philippine Embassy in Thailand, but their request was not granted "for diplomatic reasons."

Guo earlier denied accusations raised against her in the Al Jazeera documentary.

Her camp earlier raised the possibility of filing a case against the international news channel over the documentary.

Guo is facing a qualified human trafficking case before a Pasig court as well as a graft case before a Valenzuela court in connection with her alleged involvement in the illegal POGOs in Bamban.

A quo warranto petition was also filed against Guo with a Manila court as well as a petition to cancel her birth certificate before a Tarlac court.

She is also facing a tax evasion complaint as well as 87 counts for money laundering before the Justice Department. —AOL, GMA Integrated News
