Comelec: Day 7 sees filing of 49 senatorial aspirants, 50 party-lists


The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Monday concluded Day 7 of the filing period with an additional 49 senatorial aspirants and 50 party-list groups.

Here is the list of senatorial aspirants:

With the additional number on Monday, Comelec noted there is a total of 127 senatorial candidates who have filed their COCs on the second to the last day of filing.

As of Monday, Comelec noted that  a total of 137 groups have filed their respective certificates of nomination and acceptance so far.

The Comelec earlier said there are 160 party-list groups for the 2025 polls.
