Bongbong, Liza accompany Sandro in filing COC for reelection

Presidential Son and Ilocos Norte 1st District Representative Ferdinand Alexander ''Sandro'' Marcos filed his Certificate of Candidacy for reelection on Monday.

Pormal nang naghain ng kaniyang kandidatura si incumbent Ilocos Norte 1st District Rep. Sandro Marcos para sa kaniyang ikalawang termino, kung saan kasama niya sina Pangulong Bongbong Marcos at First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos.

Minutes before 5 in the afternoon, President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. and First Lady Louise ''Liza'' Araneta-Marcos accompanied the 30-year old lawmaker in filing his COC at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) office in Laoag City.

In his first term, the younger Marcos served as Senior Deputy Majority Leader of the House of Representatives.

As Senior Deputy Majority Leader, Sandro became a member of the House Committee on Rules, which deals with the Rules of the House, Rules of Procedure Governing Inquiries in Aid of Legislation, Rules of Procedure in Impeachment Proceedings, Order of Business, Calendar of Business, the referral of bills, resolutions, speeches, committee reports, messages, memorials and petitions, and the creation of committees inclusive of determining their respective jurisdictions. —RF, GMA Integrated News
