Kabataan, TGP, 1-Pacman party-lists seek reelection in 2025 polls

The Kabataan, Talino at Galing ng Pinoy Party-list (TGP), and 1-Pacman party-lists on Saturday filed their respective certificates of nomination of acceptance (CONA) for the 2025 Midterm Elections.

Kabataan, which is seeking another term in the House of Representatives, named lawyer Renee Co as its first nominee.

“Ang una naming isusulong at patuloy na isusulong mga karapatan ng estudyante na nakapaloob sa Students Rights Bill,” Co said.

“Yun po ang unang isusulong, ang pagkilala at further protection para sa karapatan ng estudyante, Constitutional rights that they do not leave when they step into school gates but they continue to keep with themselves as basic human rights,” she added.

Kabataan is currently a member of the 19th Congress with Raoul Manuel as representative.

Meanwhile, TGP formalized its House bid with Rep. Bong Teves.

Among their advocacies are affordable medicines and public health.

“Dapat matanggal ang Value Added Tax (VAT) na pinapataw sa pagbili natin ng gamot at lagyan natin ng botika sa mga barangay health center or bawat barangay sa buong Pilipinas,” Teves said.

(VAT should be removed from our medicines and there should be drugstores in every barangay health center or barangay across the country.)

1-Pacman Party-list also sought another term in Congress with Milka Romero as first nominee.

“Bilang Kabataan, kami po ay gusto mag focus sa mental health, food security and voice and representation for the Muslim community,” Romero said.

(As part of the youth, we want to focus on mental health, food security and voice and representation for the Muslim community.)

Romero is the daughter of Billionaire congressman Mikee Romero, who currently represents 1-Pacman Party-list in the 19th Congress.

Here are the party-lists who also filed certificates of nomination of acceptance (CONA) so far on the fifth day of the filing period:

The filing of COCs runs until 8, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
