Food vlogger Diwata part of party-list group seeking House seat in 2025 polls
Food vlogger Diwata is part of a party-list group that filed its certificate of nomination and acceptance (CONA) for the 2025 national elections.
Vendors Party-list, mainly composed of street vendors and vendors at wet markets, filed its CONA with Deo Balbuena, a.k.a. Diwata, as its fourth nominee, before the Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Wednesday.
One of the measures that the group aims to work on is to ease business permit filing, especially for small businesses.
The group also aims for street vendors to have a designated place where they can conduct their business.

Also filing their CONAs are party-list groups Pamana, and A-Teacher.
Teachers group A-Teacher Party-list is staging a comeback for the House of Representatives.
“The first thing that we should do is [to continue] 'yung naiwan naming legislative agenda in 2019 like the voucher system where we want to extend it to the primary education,” first nominee Julieta Cortuna said.
Ilocos Norte-based Pamana party-list, a group of Muslims, also filed its CONA.
Among its members are farmers and fisherfolk, which they aim to represent in Congress.
