Bicol University-Daraga grad tops social workers licensure exam


A graduate of Bicol University-Daraga achieved the highest score in the social workers licensure examination held earlier this month.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 4,587 out of 7,113 passed the exam, which was given by the Board for Social Workers at testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cebu, and Davao.

Sheena Mae Magdato Obispo of Bicol University-Daraga was the top scorer with 87%, while her alma mater was the top performing school with 51 or more examinees, with all 116 of its test takers passing.

Davao del Norte State College also had a 100% passing rate for its 78 test takers. For schools with 10 to 50 examinees, the top performing schools were Leyte Normal University, University of the Philippines-Diliman, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela, and Notre Dame of Marbel University, all with passing rates of 100%.

The result of one examinee's test was withheld pending completion of the remaining subject in the exam.
