Alice Guo leaves Camp Crame for House hearing

Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo left the PNP Custodial Center at Camp Crame, Quezon City on Thursday morning to attend a hearing in the House of Representatives.

Guo’s convoy left the detention facility around 8:22 a.m., according to GMA Integrated News’ James Agustin.

This is Guo’s first attendance to the hearing of the "Quadcom" or the four House of Representatives committees including the panels on dangerous drugs, public order and safety, human rights, and public accounts.

The joint committee hearing is scheduled at 9:30 a.m.

Guo is also being investigated by the Senate due to her supposed link to a raided Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO) hub in Pampanga.

It was in the Bamban POGO hub where incidents of torture of employees were recorded, among other apparent illegal activities.

Guo was able to leave the country amid pending charges against her in connection with the Bamban POGO raid, but she has since been arrested in Indonesia.
