PNP: Quiboloy co-accused turned over to Pasig City Jail
The co-accused of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy have been turned over to the Pasig City Jail, the Philippine National Police said on Friday.
Based on the commitment order of the Pasig Regional Trial Court, Cresente Canada, Ingrid Canada, Jackielyn Roy, and Sylvia Cemanes have been turned over to the jail.
This is according to PNP spokesperson Jean Fajardo.
Since their arrest and arrival in Manila, Quiboloy and his co-accused have been detained at the PNP Custodial Center at Camp Crame in Quezon City.
But Pasig City Regional Trial Court 159 ordered the transfer of Quiboloy’s four co-accused to Pasig City Jail after their arraignment on Friday morning. Quiboloy would still be detained in Camp Crame.
They pleaded not guilty for qualified human trafficking charges. —NB, GMA Integrated News
