Scheduling conflict in Quiboloy et al arraignments resolved — PNP
The scheduling conflict in the arraignments of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and his other co-accused on Friday has been resolved, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday.
In an interview, PNP spokesperson Police Colonel Jean Fajardo told reporters that the virtual arraignment in Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 106 has been moved to Friday afternoon.
Quiboloy and others are set to physically attend the arraignment in Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 159 Friday morning.
“Matutuloy po yung arraignment sa umaga po sa RTC Pasig. Yung schedule po ng videoconferencing po ng arraignment po nila sa 106 ay imo-move po ng hapon. Nag-adjust po yung RTC Quezon City,” she said.

Originally, both of the arraignments were scheduled at 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
Qualified trafficking in persons cases were filed against Quiboloy and others in the Pasig Court, a non-bailable offense. Meanwhile, child abuse cases were filed against them in the Quezon City court.
Security measures are being discussed for the transport and physical attendance of Quiboloy and his other co-accused in their arraignment in the Pasig court, according to Fajardo.
“That is now being discussed kung gaano po ba kahigpit yung security na ilalatag. So let us wait for the final instruction kung matutuloy ba but as we speak po...ay matutuloy po yung arraignment,” she said.

“We also consider the security challenges that we will be facing in case they will be transported from Crame to Pasig without also taking chance kung ano yung magiging sitwasyon kapag inalis na po natin pagdating po natin sa Pasig. That is now all being considered as we speak po,” she added.
