Alice Guo in Philippine custody: I'm good! I'm good!

Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo appeared to be in high spirits when members of the media asked her questions during the turnover of her custody from Indonesian to Philippine authorities.

In a video taken by GMA Integrated News' John Consulta, Guo held both her thumbs up when asked if she was okay, "I'm good, I'm good!"

She answered yes on whether she was confident she could answer the accusations against her.

Bureau of Immigration Fugitive Search Unit Chief Rendel Ryan Sy said the authorities needed to process Guo’s deportation clearance before she could be transferred to her scheduled chartered flight.

“Ang importante ma deport natin siya within the seven hours, or six hours na lang siguro, na timeframe natin ngayon,” Sy told GMA Integrated News.

“Nakasampa na yung kaso sa human trafficking at money laundering case. Titingnan naman natin kung ano pa makikita natin lalo sa kung paano siya umalis, and once and for all, maari nang matuldukan yan,” National Bureau of Immigration Assistant Director Lito Magno told GMA Integrated News.

(The case has been filed in the human trafficking and money laundering cases. We will see what else can be done, especially on how she left the country, and once and for all, that can be put to rest.)

Guo was arrested by Indonesian authorities in Tangerang City early Wednesday morning.

TIMELINE: The escape of Alice Guo and her siblings

Guo is facing a human trafficking complaint in relation to the raided Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator hub in Bamban and a money laundering complaint before the Department of Justice.

According to her supposed sister Shiela Guo, the dismissed mayor left the country with her and their supposed brother Wesly by riding several boats. —NB, GMA Integrated News
