Marcos has 'very good idea' whose heads will roll in Guo's escape

Marcos said he already has an idea on whose heads will roll following the escape of Alice Guo

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. said Tuesday that he already has an idea on whose heads will roll following the escape of dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo.

Speaking to Palace reporters, Marcos said he was able to talk to Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla about the matter.

“A very very good idea… I have a very, very good idea,” Marcos said when asked whose heads will roll following the probe.

The President did not disclose further information but he said they were immigration personnel.

''That's the last part of this investigation, how far, how deep does it go, isa lang bang tao ang involved o marami sila, sindikato ito. That's what we're looking for. There are no sacred cows,'' Marcos said.

Asked if he was kept in the dark on Guo's whereabouts as earlier pointed out by Senator Sherwin Gatchalian, Marcos said, ''Oh yes, definitely.''

Marcos also said that the investigation on Guo’s escape is "almost done."

“He’s almost finish with a very thorough investigation and we will identify all those who are involved and we will act very quickly,” Marcos said.

Bureau of Immigration (BI) commissioner Norman Tansingco on Tuesday said Guo was reported to be in Jakarta, Indonesia as of August 26.

"Based on the latest report sa akin kagabi, si Alice Guo is in Jakarta (Based on the latest report submitted to me last night, Alice Guo is in Jakarta)," Tansingco told a Senate panel when asked about Guo's latest whereabouts.

During the Senate justice and human rights subcommittee's inquiry into the former mayor's alleged escape, her sister, Shiela Guo admitted that she, Alice and their brother Wesley, left the Philippines by riding several boats.

According to Guo, the three of them were fetched by a van from their farm in Tarlac and they travelled southbound from dinner time to midnight.

Shiela Guo was among the persons ordered arrested by the Senate last July.
