We will not leave until Quiboloy is arrested -PRO 11

The Police Regional Office 11 on Saturday insisted that their units would not leave the Kingdom of Jesus Christ compound until Pastor  Apollo Quiboloy was found and arrested.

“Nandyan ‘yan,  tinatago lang nila. Hindi kami aalis dito habang hindi namin siya  nakukuha o ang kaniyang mga kasamahan,” PRO 11 Director Police Brigadier General Nicolas Torre III told the media.

(They're there, they are just being hidden. We will not leave until we get him or his companions.)

He said the public should understand that they had a no-bail arrest warrant for Quiboloy and his four companions.

“Ito ay isang warrant of arest na ini-implement namin laban sa tao na yan na  may kasong karumaldumal, human trafficking, child abuse,” he stressed.

(This is an arrest warrant that we are implementing against that person who faces loathsome cases - human trafficking, child abuse.)

According to reports, the authorities have only searched about 30% of the area as of 1 p.m. Torre said it was difficult to catch Quiboloy as he seemed to be playing games with them.

Police said they even saw the children's rooms in the compound and the names of young girls.

“Halos di kami makagalaw sa loob ang daming tao na gustong makipagdebate.  Hindi ito ang lugar para magdebate kami kung tama o mali ang warrant at  wala kaming personalidad na na magdebate kung guilty o not guilty si  Apollo Quiboloy.  Ang trabaho namin ay iimplement ang warrant na ito,”  Torre emphasized.

(We could hardly move at the compound with so many people wanting to argue with us. This is not the place for us to debate whether the warrant is right or wrong, and we are not the ones to debate whether Apollo Quiboloy is guilty or not guilty.  Our job is to  implement this warrant.)

Meanwhile, according to a Super Radyo dzBB report, PRO 11 confirmed that a KOJC member died from a heart attack, while the police were searching the compound.

Police units from PRO 11 augmented by the members of the Philippine National  Police (PNP) Civil Disturbance Management unit, have been deployed at the compound since early morning to serve the warrant.

They entered the location at around 5:27 a.m.

Torre said there were 42 buildings in the KOJC compound. One of the buildings was five hectares long. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
