Tornado hits Cabanatuan City

A tornado hit Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija on Wednesday, according to a 24 Oras report.

CCTV footage showed near-zero visibility in the locality due to strong winds and rain.

The tornado swept through homes, destroyed fences and gates, and uprooted trees.

According to an uploader, whose hut was flipped over, the tornado lasted over 5 seconds.

Some flooding also occurred in the area, but no casualties or injuries resulted from the calamities.

PAGASA explained that there were no active cyclones in the country, but some areas may experience rains due to the Southwest Monsoon and localized thunderstorms.
