Celine Pialago resigns as LTFRB spox

Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) spokesperson Celine Pialago on Friday announced that she will be resigning from her position effective August 31. 

Pialago said in her resignation letter that she would pursue “new challenges” in her career after being appointed to the agency in November 2023. 

“This decision has not been an easy one, as I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working with the agency and appreciate the opportunities for growth and development that have been afforded to me,” she said in the letter addressed to LTFRB chairperson Teofilo Guadiz III. 

“I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to you, my colleagues, and the entire agency for your support and collaboration during my tenure,” Pialago added. 

Prior to LTFRB, Pialago was the spokesperson for the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority until 2021 and tried her luck for a congressional seat in the 2022 elections. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
