VP Sara: No description of ties with Marcos
Vice President Sara Duterte now has no description of her relationship with President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., with whom she ran and won in Eleksyon 2022 as part of the UniTeam ticket.
According to Marisol Abdurahman's report on "24 Oras," the former secretary of education said she has yet to talk with Marcos after resigned from the Cabinet.
"Hindi na kami nagkita at hindi na kami nag-usap ni President Marcos so wala akong description sa relationship namin ngayon ni President Marcos," Duterte said.
The Vice President on Wednesday criticized the Philippine government, including the House of Representatives, for its supposed lack of action to address issues in health, security, infrastructure, and foreign interference.
In a lengthy statement addressed to the Muslim community, Duterte said the country was being led by officials who are disloyal to their sworn duty.
Duterte said she was surprised about the results of the OCTA Research Survey, which indicated that pro-Duterte Filipinos have gone down.
Duterte said.
I'm sure lahat yun lilipat sa pro-Pilipinas," she added.
Duterte adverted to "perpetuation in power" as the "motive."
"It's very obvious sa lahat ng naririnig mo nakikita mo na ginagawa, ang motibo diyan is, 'Ayaw ko na bumaba. Sa akin na ito forever'," Duterte said.
"Kaya sirain ko kayong lahat. Wala akong pakialam kung totoo man o hindi ang paninira ko sa inyo basta lang masira kayo," she added.
"'Yan ang motibo diyan. everything is all about politics and power," Duterte said.
