Policeman shoots girlfriend on face while having drinks in Davao City

A woman in Davao City was allegedly shot dead by her boyfriend, a police officer.
According to the report on "State of the Nation" by GMA Regional TV's Kent Abrigana, the incident happened while the couple were drinking and had an argument caused by jealousy.
The suspect, a member of the Mandug Police Station, reportedly took his gun and shot the victim in the face.
The victim was pronounced dead on the spot.
“Noong una, nag-inuman sila. Palagay natin na parang okay pa. Pero noong under the influence na sila ng alak, doon na nagtalo at doon narinig ng witness na may pagseselos at pagtatalo,” said Davao City Police Office spokesperson Police Captain Hazel Tuazon.
(At first, they were drinking together. Supposedly, they were still okay by then. Once they were under the influence of alcohol, they started to argue. That was when the witness heard them have an argument involving jealousy.)
Authorities were able to recover a gun and bullet casings.
The suspect immediately surrendered to the police and is facing a murder charge.
