Robin Padilla: Senate panel to investigate case of sexual harassment involving GMA artist

The Senate committee on public information and mass media will investigate a  case sexual harassment incident involving a GMA artist, according to its chairperson Senator Robin Padilla.

Padilla manifested this during the Senate's plenary session on Monday, saying this aims to uncover the truth behind the incident.

The actor-turned-senator did not mention the name of the artist.

"Hindi po natin sinasabi na may sabit dito ang GMA-7. Hindi po. Ang sinasabi po natin dito kailangan magkaroon ng malinaw, malinaw na pagpapaliwanag sa komite ng mass media ang naganap na ito sapagka’t ito po ay public information," Padilla said.

According to a report on "24 Oras," GMA Network Inc. is coordinating with Padilla's committee and confirmed that it will send a representative. —NB, GMA Integrated News
