Puppies allegedly fed to snake, monitor lizard in Cebu

Authorities are investigating an incident in Cebu's Carmen town in which puppies were allegedly being fed to a snake and a monitor lizard,  according to a 24 Oras Weekend report.

In the video that was screen-recorded by authorities, the puppies were seen inside the snake and monitor lizard's enclosure.

Based on the initial information from a concerned citizen, the video was uploaded on a social media page which is said to be looking for docile puppies that would be fed to the pet reptiles.

The Carmen tourism office said it identified the uploader who is being investigated to find out if this person was the owner of the video and if the incident happened in the town.
