JV Ejercito reelected as Senate deputy majority leader

The Senate on Tuesday reelected Senator JV Ejercito as deputy majority leader under Senate President Francis Escudero's leadership.

Senate Majority Leader Francis Tolentino made the motion to elect Ejercito to the post which was eventually approved by the body with no objection.

To recall, Ejercito served the same post under the leadership of former Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri alongside Senator Mark Villar.

Meanwhile, Senator Bong Go was elected as the new chairman of the committee on youth which was previously chaired by now-resigned Senator Sonny Angara.
