Marcos' SONA 2024 will be longer, Sandro says
Presidential Son and Ilocos Norte Representative Ferdinand Alexander ''Sandro'' Marcos said Monday that his father's third State of the Nation Address (SONA) would be longer, noting that unexpected issues will be tackled.
The neophyte lawmaker told reporters that President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr had his last SONA practice on Sunday afternoon.
He refused to provide further details on the content of Marcos' speech.
''It's good, we're there yesterday afternoon. He ran through his speech one last time...'' said Sandro Marcos.
''The speech is an hour and a half long, lots to look forward to, some unexpected, that's all I'll say,'' he added.
The Philippine President will be wearing a Barong Tagalog made by artisans from Quezon, Batangas, and Aklan.
Bicol's pride World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) 2024 Champion Blessie Mae Alipopo Abagat will sing the National Anthem during the SONA.
The Radio Television Malacañang will handle the production during Marcos' third SONA, the Presidential Communications Office earlier said. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
