Bong Go: Ex-President Duterte ‘alive and eating’

"Alive and eating."

That's how Senator Christopher “Bong" Go described the current health of former President Rodrigo Duterte amid new rumors about the former chief executive's condition. 

In a Facebook post on Wednesday night, Go shared photos showing Duterte and his common-law partner, Honeylet Avanceña, sitting at a dining table with food and drinks.

 

“‘Yan ang sagot ni Senator Bong Go sa mga kumakalat na FAKE NEWS ngayon ukol sa kalagayan ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte,” read the caption of Go's post.

In June, Go also went live on his Facebook page with Duterte to dismiss the information on Duterte's alleged passing. 

Duterte said he is just staying and resting at his house in Davao City.

 “Akoý matanda na at hindi natin maiwasan ang mga balita na nagkasakit. Wala naman akong sakit at feeling ko, hindi naman ako mamamatay ngayon kaagad,” Duterte said.
