Yellow alert up over Luzon Grid on Tuesday afternoon, evening —NGCP

The Luzon Grid will be placed under yellow alert on Tuesday afternoon and evening, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) said.

According to a post of Super Radyo dzBB on X (formerly Twitter), the yellow alert would be implemented from 1:01 p.m. to 5 p.m. as well as from 6:01 p.m. to 12 midnight.

A yellow alert indicates that the operating margin is insufficient to meet the transmission grid’s contingency requirement. —Joviland Rita/KG, GMA Integrated News
