Spoliarium Beep cards sold out; final batch out in June

Premium Beep cards featuring Juan Luna’s Spoliarium have been sold out, the National Museum Employees' Multi-Purpose Cooperative has said.

In a statement on Thursday, the cooperative said that the first batch of the cards have all been sold.

The second and final batch of the cards will be available in June.

“Mula sa aming kooperatiba at sa Pambansang Museo ng Pilipinas, maraming, maraming salamat po sa mainit na pagtanggap sa aming proyekto upang gunitain ang pagkapanalo ng ating pinagmamalaki sa buong mundo na Spoliarium na obra ni Juan Luna, isang daan at apat na pung taon na ang nakakalipas,” read the statement.

The premium Beep card was released in collaboration with AF Payments, Inc. to celebrate the artwork’s 140th anniversary. 

Some 540 copies were sold on the first day of the card’s release. —NB, GMA Integrated News
