Bong Revilla says he's on his way to recovery
Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. on Wednesday said he is on his way to recovery after suffering a partial tear on his Achilles heel.
Revilla attended the alliance signing of the Lakas-CMD, which he chairs, and the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP).
"Well, I am getting better, getting better. At siyempre, still recovering. Road to recovery, but it's a long way to go. Three to six months to one year, kasi Achilles tendon rupture," Revilla told reporters.

While expressing hope that he could normally walk in the next months, Revilla said he would go back work in the Senate on Wednesday.
"Mamaya, I will go to the Senate. Magpapakita din ako doon pero against my doctor's advice. Matigas ang ulo ko eh," Revilla said.

Meanwhile, Revilla said he needs to be in the alliance event as it is a "very momentous event" for his party.
"So kailangan nandito tayo to support at siyempre 'yung alyansa ng PFP and Lakas ay napakalaking bagay para sa administrasyon ng ating mahal na pangulo, Bongbong Marcos," the senator said.
