Marcos eyes alliance with Lakas, NPC, NP, NUP
President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. and the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas have started discussions with the country's national political parties for alliances ahead of Eleksyon 2025.
Marcos made the remark during the oathtaking of 33 new members of the PFP at a hotel in Manila.
''We have organized a steering committee, we will then go and make our alliances with the different parties. Of course, nandiyan ang Lakas, NPC, NP, NUP, lalong-lalo na sa House," Marcos said in his speech.
"Pero siyempre kailangan din natin kausapin siyempre mga governor, may sariling... may local party 'yan,'' he added.
Marcos said the other parties were willing to talk.
''I have spoken to the other leaders of the other party and as far as I can tell eh mukha naman, willing naman lahat ng tao makipagusap and find a way around of this para naman pagdating ng halalan tayo ay nagkakaisa,'' Marcos said.
Earlier, PFP national president South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo Tamayo said the party has been eyeing to have alliances and coalitions with at least three national political parties for the upcoming polls.
At present, Tamayo said the party does not have an official senatorial slate yet for Eleksyon 2025. —NB, GMA Integrated News
