UPCAT 2025 set for August 10-11

The next University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT) is scheduled from August 10 to 11, 2024, the UP System’s Office of Admissions announced on Monday.

Applicants may fill out the application (Form 1) for UPCAT online starting April 15.

Applicants were also reminded to revisit the UPCAT portal on August 2023, with specific dates yet to be announced, to fill out their grades in Form 2B. The hard copy of their SF-10 must then be submitted to the UP Office of Admissions in UP Diliman, Quezon City.

The UPCAT has four subtests: language proficiency (in English and Filipino), reading comprehension (in English and Filipino), science, and mathematics.

Successful first year college students will be admitted in the first semester of the school year 2025-2026.

The UPCAT resumed in 2023 after being halted for three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
