Marcos urges housing beneficiaries to utilize benefits to improve lives

President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. on Friday called on beneficiaries of the government's housing project to make good use of their new home to ensure a better future.

The President made the statement as he graced the groundbreaking and awarding ceremonies of the National Housing Authority’s (NHA) new housing projects in Bacoor, Cavite.

''Tinatawagan ko po ang lahat ng mga benepisyaryo na gamitin ang biyayang ito upang mapaunlad ang inyong mga buhay at matiyak ang magandang kinabukasan para sa inyo at para sa mga pamilya ninyo,'' Marcos said in his speech.

(I urge all beneficiaries to use these housing benefits to improve their lives and to ensure a better future for you and your families.)

Malacañang said the groundbreaking of Ciudad Kaunlaran Phase II marks the start of the construction of two five-storey low-rise buildings, which is set to generate 120 housing units in total.

The Palace also said that an additional five-storey building would soon be constructed with 60 more units in the same location.

For Phase I, 360 families have been awarded with units and will occupy six buildings. Once completed, Phase I will compose nine five-storey buildings totaling 540 housing units.
