MIAA: 14% increase in passengers at NAIA this December

According to data from the Manila International Airport Authority, there was a 14% increase in the number of passengers at the NAIA this December 2023 compared to the same period last year.

According to JP Soriano's Saturday 24 Oras Weekend report, the MIAA recorded 2,917,105 passengers passing through the NAIA terminals from December 1-22, 2023, compared to the 2,547,042 passengers who passed through during the same period in 2022.

On December 22, 2023, 143,394 travelers departed and arrived at NAIA terminals.

Traffic was heavy around the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Saturday due to the number of travelers who headed to the airport to catch their flights.
