CAAP: Airports ready for influx of passengers this long weekend
The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said that the 44 airports under its supervision are ready for the long weekend.
"Safety and efficiency are very important in our operations, and together with our partner agencies, we are confident that traveling through our airports this long weekend will be a comfortable experience for our passengers," said CAAP Director General Manuel Antonio Tamayo.
As part of CAAP's preparations, the airports have initiated routine protocols for swift and orderly processing of passengers and activated Malasakit Helpdesks at passenger terminal buildings.
