Marcos meets Xi Jinping on the sidelines of APEC Summit 2023

SAN FRANCISCO, USA - President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. on Saturday (PH Time) met with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the 2023 APEC Summit.

This was confirmed by the Presidential Communications Office to the Philippine media delegation. 

Marcos earlier said he would "get the view of the Chinese President on what we can do to bring down the temperature, to not escalate the situation in the West Philippine Sea." — BAP/KG, GMA Integrated News
