Marcos OKs nomination of Alexander Lopez as PRA chair

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has approved the nomination of Alexander Tantoco Lopez as chairman of the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA). 

This was announced  through a letter signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin dated November 7. 

The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) on Friday announced the appointment of Lopez as member of the PRA Board of Directors.

According to Bersamin, Lopez will serve the “unexpired term of office” from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, as substitute for Henry Robinson Jr.

Cesar Siador Jr., meanwhile, was appointed general manager and chief executive officer of the same agency.

Siador and Anthony Peter Crisologo were also both designated as members of the Board of Directors. 

PRA, a government agency attached to the Office of the President, serves as the clearing house for all reclamation projects in the Philippines.—RF, GMA Integrated News
