Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida arrived in Malacañang on Friday to have a bilateral talk with President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

Kishida is in the Philippines for an official visit until November 4, Saturday.

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) earlier said that Marcos and Kishida would discuss the issues on the West Philippine Sea and Japan's Official Development Assistance (ODA) during their meeting.

The two leaders would also exchange views about regional, international, and United Nations issues affecting the region and the world, the DFA said.
